Michael Bennett to Speak at the United Nations Road Safety Forum 2026

Jellylearn is proud to announce that Michael Bennett, Director of Business Development, has been invited to speak at the Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety — the United Nations body dedicated to road safety — in Geneva during March 2026.

About the Forum

The Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety is the sole permanent United Nations body dedicated exclusively to road safety. With a membership of 56 countries spanning Europe, North America and Central Asia, the Forum convenes twice annually to set international standards, share evidence and drive coordinated action on road safety. Its work directly influences national road safety policies and licensing frameworks across member states.

Michael's Presentation

Michael has been invited to talk about hazard perception — as the only cognitive driving skill consistently associated with reducing road traffic collisions, the forum is keen to understand how it could benefit their members. The forum comprises 56 member countries from Europe, North America, and Central Asia and meets twice a year.

Addressing Young Driver Risk

Jellylearn is both excited and proud to be invited to this meeting, which offers a welcome opportunity to discuss a major global issue affecting learner and young drivers aged 17 to 24. This cohort are disproportionally represented in fatal and serious road accidents due to their lack of experience in understanding this cognitive driving skill.

Jellylearn's Global Reach

Jellylearn's work in hazard perception spans national licensing programmes, research partnerships with leading universities, and fleet safety training. The organisation's content and assessment tools are used across more than 30 countries, reaching over 1.5 million test-takers annually.

"Hazard perception is the only cognitive driving skill consistently associated with reducing road traffic collisions."
